Cool game. Missing Kanye, but still a good game. -Intrusive thoughts Back to the real thoughts, some typos exist, abrupt attacks on battle start can be avoided or delayed. (Also, a personal peeve, nothing too important, but I think there could've been a better font used for the captions to facilitate the story panels- just my thoughts). The underlying chess concept and backstory is pretty great. I see some neat takes on the souls-like battle style (or so I think). Rechargeable shield is a cool touch with the accompanying punishments for overusing it, the dash is cool too; I like the spammy dash. The effects and fights are eye-catching. Diamond in the rough, for what it is rn. I give this a solid Green goblin/10. W for da bois.

after igdc 2023 this remains my favourate game which I played a lot and adore the graphics and gameplay alot.
